About Us

Cheyenne-Laramie County Employees Federal Credit Union is a full service financial institution dedicated to serving its membership who shares a common bond. Originally charted in May 1951 to serve the employees of the City of Cheyenne. Over the years through charter changes we have broadened our field of membership to include employees of the following:


 

  • City of Cheyenne
  • Laramie County
  • Board of Public Utilities
  • Laramie County Library
  • Cheyenne Housing Authority
  • American Medical Response
  • Fire District #6
  • D & S Towing
  • Great Western Airgas
  • Retirees
  • Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership
  • Employees of the credit union
  • Member of immediate families or household
  • Organizations of such persons

The mission of the credit union is to encourage regular savings and offer financial services and loans at reasonable and comparative rates, while maintaining long term stability, with the application of sound business practices.

2022 Annual Treasurer’s Report

The credit union had a good year.  We ended the year with $31,230,362.31 in Assets. December 2021 we were $31,522.462

Some of the ratios for 2022 are as follows:

Net Worth                                       9.64%

Delinquent Loans                             .33%

Return on Average Assets              0.34

Operating Expense                        2.30%

Also, our charge offs for the end of December 2022 ended with a total of $12,887.87 with a recovery of $540.29 making our total loss for the year $12,347.58. 

Today the credit union main goals still remain the same to be here for our members and continue to provide quality financial services.
